Basic SEO Rules

SEO Rules.

Here is a short list of the seo rules, (On page optimisation) I have made up for myself, certain search engine optimisation rules have to be followed even if the search engines change the algorithms. This list will grow as I will want to share more and more of my SEO knowledge...

Anyway these SEO rules definitely begin any campaign I take on and you should follow too, your welcome to get in touch with me if you can think of any more, if I think justified, I will list them along with a link to your website.

1.Try to get your best keyword in the domain name.

2.Use the exact keyword in the extension of the URL

3.Base a webpage around one main keyword and a website around a theme.

4.Place main keyword at the front of meta title tag.

5.In the Meta keyword tag, only place words that are actually on the page.

6.In the description Meta tag, place the keyword somewhere in the beginning and near the end.

7.If you have 100 words on the page, place the keyword 3-4 times or approx 3-4%.
